Pop the bubble to one side, making sure you’re not in the line of sight of your teammates trying to take out the boss. This one is great for when you have to take down a big boss. This is great support exotic that your teammates definitely will thank you for with the over shield enabling bubble. Guarding with Sentinel Shield blinds nearby enemies. Modelled after it’s owner Saint-14 the intrinsic perk here is Starless Night, Enemies that enter Ward of Dawn are blinded, while allies that pass through gain an overshield. This is a classic armour piece that was introduced in season 2 and also featured in Destiny 1. It’s not as strong as it once was, it was downright broken at one point, but if you like running a Sentinel Titan then this is the exotic armour piece for you. This is great for running around, bashing with the shield and increasing the during of the super. While Sentinel Shield is active, melee kills recharge Shield Throw, which extends your Super on hits. It pairs great with the sentinel subclass and the intrinsic perk is Horns of Doom, Void melee kills give Super energy. This was introduced during season 1 of Destiny 2 and you can pick this one up from the Red War campaign mission “Riptide”. Due to its versatility you can use this with any subclass, so pick the one you like best and give it a try. This is a great all-round armour piece that promotes your use of abilities so this one pairs well with something like Monte Carlo for melee damage and one-two-punch mods. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points. The intrinsic perk here is Overflowing Light, Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. This chest piece was originally introduced during season 4, back when Forsaken dropped. It may be tempting to pop that super when it arrives, but save it and use it to supercharge the grenade and charged melee abilities and you’ll be taking out plenty of ads with this one. This one is designed to pair with the Solar subclass and works really well when Solar singe is active for nightfalls. This one grants a 75% recharge rate when your Hammer of Sol Super is charged. Greatly improves recharge rate while your Super is charged. Its intrinsic perk is Sunfire Furnace, which improves the recharge rate of your Solar abilities. This is a chest piece that was introduced in season 1, right back at the very start of Destiny 2. As a bonus, if you have Demolitionist weapons then this further increases your capacity to regenerate grenades turning you into a grenade machine! If you also have any Ashes to Assets mods, grenade kills can boost super energy generation. This is great for a build where you want to spec around grenades, as final blows with fusion grenades grant grenade energy back. Final blows with Fusion Grenades grant grenade energy. The intrinsic perk here is Bring the Heat, where Fusion Grenades now explode on impact and gain increased throw speed. These gauntlets were originally introduced in season 3, back in the Warmind DLC. Let’s get into the list of the best exotic armour for Titans in PVE. Some you can get from campaign missions as rewards and I’ll indicate that where appropriate. With all the exotics I am about to discuss, you can get them from an exotic random world drop or pick them up from Xur at the weekends. Just make sure you stock up on legendary shards. He’s in various hidden locations and a quick search on the internet and you’ll find him. This is probably the most reliable way to pick up exotic armour and he sells one piece per class each week, so if you are missing something make sure you check out his inventory each week.
You can also buy exotic armour pieces from Xur every weekend, as he arrives at reset time on Friday and hangs around until reset on Tuesday. This used to be a very, very small chance although the drop rate appears to have gotten better since the Shadowkeep drop. Some are handed out through the story missions (Doom Fang Pauldrons is a good example in the Red War campaign) or you can find them out there in the wild as random drops. There are a few ways you can get Exotic Armour. Exotic armour looks unique and enhances elements of your Titan be it through exploding grenades, enhancing your melee or making your super last longer – it all adds up to causing more destruction as you travel around the solar system, whether you’re doing a quest, story mission or just farming a PVE activity like Escalation Protocol on Mars or Altars of Sorrow on the Moon.
